While we have seen a few offerings from IK in the Android space previously, this is technically the first fully featured (and supported) audio interface available for users on Google’s mobile operating system. On top of around 5 years of additional development, the new iRig will support iOS/Mac devices as well as all Android 5.0 tablets and smartphones.
Much like its predecessor, iRig 2 provides a quick and reliable recording/monitoring solution for guitar players but with a few new features packed in. Initially unveiled back in January, IK Multimedia’s latest mutli-platform audio interface is now ready to ship.
